Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf carts and golf course equipment, ensuring they are safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with golf carts and equipment, identifying the root cause and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Conduct regular, thorough inspections of golf carts and equipment to identify any existing or potential problems.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including identifying parts and supplies needed for repairs.
- Coordinate with management and staff to schedule maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to our customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working order.
- Conduct adequate safety inspections of grounds and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe work environment.
- Assist with irrigation or ground work when assigned.
- Contain costs by utilizing warranties and evaluate service and parts options.
- Assist in training employees on vehicle and equipment operation
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock and requisitioning parts needed for repairs while staying within the set budgets.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of golf cart and equipment maintenance and repair techniques is required.
- Previous experience working as a Golf Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Must be an honest, accountable, team playing individual who receives direction well.
- Grooming and dress standards will be required of the successful applicant
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Hours
1 Position – (40-44) hours per week
