Pool Supervisor/Lifeguard

Starting Date

May 1, 2024 or earlier if required

Duties

1. Supervise and assist all pool staff;
2. Schedule all shifts for guards, instructors and slide attendants;
3. Lead and make assignments for in-service training programs as provided;
4.            Assist with management of facility;
5. Supervise and assist in daily cleaning of facility;
6. Instruct Red Cross Swim and Water Safety Programs;
7. Lifeguard;              
8. Other duties as required from time to time.

Qualifications

1. Hold a current National Lifeguard Service Certificate;
2. Hold a WSI and recommended to hold a Lifesaving Instructor Certificate;
3. Hold current standard First Aid and CPR Certificates;
4. Possess good public relation and communication skills;
5. Enjoy working with children.

Experience

1. Minimum 3 years of lifeguard and instructor experience.
2. Minimum of 1 year of supervisor experience.
3. Customer service experience an asset.
4. Facility opening and closing duties an asset.

Hours

All lifeguard positions require various shift work and some split shifts.
