Housing costs, both for renting and buying keep going up, making it harder for people to afford a place to live.

Sustainable Housing Initiative

The Rural Development Network’s Sustainable Housing Initiative is working on behalf of the Chinook Foundation to gather community perspectives regarding housing needs in Cardston County and the communities within Cardston County. The Rural Development Network (RDN) is a not-for-profit organization that offers community-social development services across Canada, with initiatives that cover a wide range of areas, including rural housing, health, homelessness, and immigration.

This 10-minute survey is meant to:

1) Collect feedback on housing in Cardston County and Communities within Cardston County;

2) Collect perspectives on affordable housing options in Cardston County and Communities within Cardston County.

The survey results will help with the development of a What We Heard Report and guide the development of an Affordable Housing Strategy.
