NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF CARDSTON
IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
PROPOSED BYLAW NO. 1717
6:00 pm. July 9, 2024
Town of Cardston Council Chambers
PURSUANT to sections 251 and 258 of the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter M-26, the Council of the Town of Cardston in the Province of Alberta hereby gives notice of its intention to consider proposed Bylaw No. 1717, being a bylaw to authorize the Town to incur indebtedness through financing from an appropriate lender for the purpose of constructing a golf course clubhouse and restaurant.
WHEREAS The Council of the Municipality of the Town of Cardston desires to finance a portion of the facility that will be located next to the site of the current golf course clubhouse;
THEREFORE, TAKE NOTICE THAT a public hearing to consider the proposed Bylaw No. 1717 will be held in the Town of Cardston Council Chambers at 6:00 pm. on July 9, 2024.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that anyone wishing to make a presentation regarding the proposed bylaw should contact the Chief Administrative Officer no later than 4:00 pm. on July 5, 2024. Both written and verbal presentations may be given at the public hearing.
A copy of the proposed bylaw may be inspected at the Town of Cardston municipal office during normal business hours. A copy of the bylaw will be posted on the Town website as well.
