Scavenger Hunt (with prizes)
The Cardston Historical Society is hosting a scavenger hunt using QR codes and clues to navigate from historical site to historical site in Cardston. To start, visit the Card Home to get your first clue.
Yard of the Week: The Town will be holding a "Yard of the Week" competition during our Heritage Week August 6-11, 2020. A winner will be announced for different categories each day (see each day below).
MONDAY
Cardston Pool Hawaiian Pool Luau. (During Public Swim 1:15-3:15, 5:00-7:00)
Yard of the Week: Best COVID Decorated Yard (Front yard must be decorated to describe your idea of what COVID has been like. You can decorate using masks, gloves, signs, or anything else that screams COVID to you.)
TUESDAY
All Day: Rock Painting Competition
For all you amazing rock painters the Town of Cardston is going to host a ROCK PAINTING COMPETITION as part of their Heritage Days celebration week!
Rocks will be dropped off to Iaslyn and Candace Atwood at Atkins store on August 4th and 5th. This gives you 2 weeks to find the perfect rock and make the perfect painting.
The following age categories will be available for entry (based on age at time of entry):
- Under 4
- 4 & 5 years old
- 6 & 7 years old
- 8 & 9 years old
- 10 & 11 years old
- 12 – 14 years old
- 15 – 18 years old
- Over 18
- Long term care seniors
