Burn Pile Closure

BURN PILE REOPENED

Wednesday May 6th: Thanks to the help of the fire department, a safe burn was able to be conducted over the weekend and the burn pile is now open to receive new material.

UPDATE: Monday April 27th

Due to high winds a burn could not be safely conducted over the past weekend. Rains are expected this week and another attempt will be made at reducing the burn pile size when conditions allow. The burn pile remains closed until further notice.

The burn pile at the Dump has rapidly increased in size over the past week with material from residents spring cleaning their yards. It has currently grown too large, and if any new material is added it will be unsafe to burn.

Effective immediately the burn pile is CLOSED until after our attendants can conduct a controlled burn to reduce its size.

The burn pile will not reopen until further notice.
