Job Posting: Transfer Station Attendant

The Town of Cardston requires a transfer station attendant. This position is responsible for the operation and care of the solid waste transfer station facility immediately east of Cardston. The successful applicant will manage the daily operation of the facility including directing users of the facility, cleaning and light maintenance of the area, and correlating with the Chief Mountain Regional Solid Waste Authority for pick up and removal of garbage, wood, metal, tires etc from the facility.

This position is also responsible for developing and coordinating enhanced recycling initiatives in conjunction with the Town, the recycling contractor and garbage collection contractor.

This full-time permanent position will be a Tuesday through Saturday schedule. The successful applicant must have reliable transportation to and from work.
