The Town of Cardston offers the following leisure and recreational facilities.


Located on the west side of Cardston at the corner of highway 501 and 12th street, the Agridome provides a place for people to ride and practice timed events out of the weather. The Agridome is situated on 20 acres of land and features a 100′ x 200′ heated indoor arena with a 200′ x 40′ warm up area and slide track. The facility can accomodate up to 160 horses. There are also two outdoor arenas, the newest being 200′ x 400′ making it the perfect place for team roping and barrel racing. Day passes and annual riding memberships are available.

Swimming PoolPool Picture

The swimming pool is located at 64 4th Ave West. The outdoor swimming pool is open from the May long weekend to the end of August (weather permitting). The pool features a six lane 25 meter pool basin, a low diving board, beach entry wading pool, lazy river, water buckets, toddler pool, tanning areas. Click the link for copies of the pool schedule.

Ice Centre

The Charlie Cheesman Ice Centre is located at 343 Main A Street (just behind the Card Pioneer Home). The facility features an 85′ x 140′ ice surface, concession, sharpening service, four dressing rooms, and exclusive rooms for referees, figure skating, and minor hockey.

Public skating is offered free of charge and is sponsored by the local Kinsmen Club, Lions Club, Rotary Club and Royal Canadian Legion.

Golf Course

The Lee Creek Valley Golf Course is an 18 hole Les Furber designed course. The course also has a driving range,  full scale practice greens and a sand bunker for you warm up needs. The clubhouse has merchandise for sale and offers basic food services.

Ball Diamonds

Cardston has several quality ball diamonds including one ball park with lighting. Cardston has very active softball leagues and are always looking for new players. Please click here to find league information.

Cardston has one tennis court located on the northeast corner of Town Square at 4th Street and 3rd Ave West. There is no charge for use of the courts.


Skateboard Park

There is a community skateboard park located beside the swimming pool at 64 4th Ave West.


Campground and Reunion

The Lee Creek Campgound is located on the banks of the Lee Creek in Cardston. The campground has 33 fully serviced RV lots (power, water, sewer), 10 partially serviced lots (power, water) and many non-serviced and group tenting sites. All sites include fire pits and picnic tables.

The Reunion Centre is available for bookings up to two years in advance. The centre is the ideal place for large gatherings and family reunions.
